Kansas City Chiefs Record First Win of Season

The Kansas City Chiefs were finally able to get the monkey off their back when they defeated the winless Minnesota Vikings at Arrowhead Stadium last Sunday.   The Chiefs improved to 1-3 on the season and look forward to playing for their second victory next week in Indianapolis.  Matt Cassel had a good second half, but the star of the game was, surprisingly, Chiefs’ kicker Ryan Succop.  After struggling all season Succop went 5/5 on field goals that included two over 50 yards.

A turning point in the game was when Haley and Cassel had a heated exchange on the sideline after Cassel threw a ball to the ground on a 3rd down screen play in the redzone.  After the public argument the Chiefs started to take control of the game.  We’ll see how the QB and Coach’s relationship play out in the coming weeks.

After KC plays at the Colts they have a bye week then a game at Oakland against their division rivals.  Following that game the Chiefs host the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night at 7:30pm.  Tickets to this game and all the games remaining on the schedule can be found at www.ticketsforless.com.  You can also call 913-685-3322 to talk to a friendly representative that can help you find the best seats.
