KANSAS CLINCHES #1 SEED IN BIG 12 TOURNAMENT

The Kansas Jayhawks defeated #5 Kansas State Wildcats 82-65 last night at Allen Fieldhouse.   Xavier Henry led the Jayhawks with 19 points.  Following the game, Sherron Collins gave his senior night speech and thanked many including friends, parents, fans, and coaches.

What is next for the Jayhawks?  The Big 12 Tournament starts next week March 10th-13th at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.  The Kansas Jayhawks clinched the #1 seed, which means they will have a bye on March 10th.    No need to buy Sessions 1 & 2 if you are a KU fan.  Unless of course, you want to see some competitive Big 12 college basketball games.  The Jayhawks first game will be during the morning of Thursday, March 11th – Session 3.   KU will play the winner of the #8 and #9 seeds.    If the Jayhawks win, they will play Friday night during Session 5.  Session 6 is the Championship game on Sunday, and could be another rematch against rival Kansas State.
