Royals 2014

With the Royals late but failed run at a wild card playoff berth last season, expectations for the 2014 season are high. The Royals finished last season 10 games above .500, their best finish since 1989. Kansas City had a team record three gold glove winners and a pitching staff with the lowest era in the American League so there is a lot more to be excited about than in previous years. All that being said, the Royals have not made the playoffs since they won the World Series in 1985 which is a longer playoff drought than any other team in baseball. If the Royals want to change this they will have to find some consistent offense to go with their strong pitching staff and solid defense.

Kansas City opens up at Kauffman Stadium on April 4th against the Chicago White Sox for three games then have the Tampa Bay Rays in town for another three game home stand. Hopefully they can continue their winning ways. For great seats to the Royals home opener against the White Sox or any of the 81 home games this season call Tickets For Less.
