Royals face a key stretch in season

The Royals face a key stretch of the season under new Manager Ned Yost.  They way the Kansas City Royals started out they are only 8.5 back to the Twins.  The Royals will face division leader Rangers, playoff teams from last year Red Sox and Angels.  After that they face two teams from there division they are looking up at in the Tigers and Twins.  This will be interesting to  see how Ned navigates this with his team.  With such a tough stretch what record would you be happy with – 8-8 or how about 10-6.  If we want to get back in this race we need a great 11-5 0r 12- 4 run.  I know this is probably not possible, but the Royals were never as bad as there record indicated under Hillman.  I think Yost can guide them through this with a 9-7 record.

So far Yost has done a good job being the Royals manager 6-4 in his first ten games.  Project that out for a full 160 game schedule and that is 96-64.  Of course the Royals are not as good as that record would indicate.  I think with this division why can’t we be around or over 500 record.  If we want to be ready to take the next step in baseball we have to I stress have to finish at least in third place in the Central division.  The Royals have a lot of young talent coming and this should help the natives that are restless in  Kansas City.  If you are wanting see the Royals against Texas  or on Memorial Day starting the series against the Angels  contact Tickets For Less at 913.685.3322 or purchase over the web at www.ticketsforless.com
