Royals vs Cardinals a rivalry that doesn’t get the hype it deserves

With Royals vs Cardinals coming up this weekend a heated rivalry is back in the spotlight.  Unfortunately the series doesn’t get the pub from the national media it deserves.  All the talk is the subway series or White Sox  vs Cubs, or Giants vs Dodgers.  It stems back from the 1985 I-70 World Series.  As everyone knows the Royals took that and the World Series crown 4 games to 3.  The venom that spews from Royals and Cardinals fans takes it up a notch.  The Cardinals feel like they get screwed and they should be the champs.  Now with inter-league play that happens every year both stadiums are charged with excitement to see who will be this years state champs.  The Cardinals have taken to the Royals lately.  The Royals have not won a series outright since 2001.  They tied the series in 2007 and the Cardinals lead the all time series 26-19.  The good thing for the Royals the last time they won it was a three game series at Kauffman as it is this year June 25th – June 27th.  Tickets For Less has a great special going on right now for the Sunday game as seats start out at $10.00.  Of course they have tickets for all games in this rivalry.
