Everybody is getting excited to see whats going to happen this year with the new setup. Can the local schools handle playing the all the South schools instead of a three game rotation. I think people will be pleasantly surprised how the North will be able to stack up with the South. It might not happen right away but I think playing them all the time will help them. It will give them the chance to see what they need to improve on and what there doing right. The Missouri Tigers are the most intriguing one of the bunch. With a new starting Quarterback James Franklin can he come close to the numbers first rounder Blaine Gabbert put up. They have all ways been consistent under Gary Pinkel but can they take the next step and win the Conference. Kansas State looks to continue improve under Bill Snyder. They have a couple exciting new newcomers that will hit the gridiron for the Wildcats. The Quarterback situation seemed to settle itself with Collin Klein in the Spring. Then comes the Jayhawks. Turner Gill needs to get things going in his second year with KU. They need to improve on both Offense and Defense. With the continue efforts Turner is bringing in recruiting watch for vast improvements this year. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the local schools as they get ready to start the new football year.
