The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off their 23rd-straight league opening win at Oklahoma to battle the K-State wildcats at Allen Fieldhouse today in Lawrence. The Jayhawks have won the last 7 Big 12 home openers going back to the 06-07 season but the Wildcats are bringing a 10 game win streak to Lawrence. The Jayhawks have also won 47 of the last 50 meetings against the Wildcats. After K-State the Jayhawks will have a short turnaround and play the first of 4 Big Monday games on ESPN against Iowa State in Ames then follow up with Oklahoma State, the  co-preseason Big 12 favorites, on Saturday the 18th at Allen Fieldhouse. With the Big 12 tournament just around the corner Big 12 teams are looking strong for the upcoming tournament.
