Tomorrow night at approximately 8:30 the Kansas Jayhawks will take on the number 1 Kentucky Wildcats in the Champions Classic at Indianapolis on ESPN. The Jayhawks struggled in their opener against UC Santa Barbara winning 69-59, and Kentucky trailed at half yesterday against Buffalo 38-33 before destroying them in the second half. The Jayhawks must be patient tomorrow night and not force any shots inside. The Wildcats have the most length and shot blockers I have ever seen.
The Jayhawks have the talent to knock off the Kentucky Wildcats as Kansas has the better guard play and better shooters. The Jayhawks ultimately must stay out of foul trouble and have the freshmen grow up tremendously from their first game. Kansas will then return home to face Rider in one week from tonight in Lawrence before traveling to Orlando for the Old Spice Classic. Kansas will take on Rhode Island on Thanksgiving Day in that event.
