Rascal Flatts Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Sprint Center was an exhilarating concert for any age and a crowd pleaser. I have been lucky enough to go to their show for the past 4 years and this was one of their best!
Their opening act, Darius Rucker, set the tone of being an upbeat and energetic show. Darius Rucker sang all of his country number one hits and a few of his older songs from when he was with Hootie and the Blowfish, which pleased and surprised the crowd. After the intermission Rascal Flatts came on stage to the roaring crowd. The show lasted about an hour and 45 minutes and in that time they sang most of their popular songs and a few older ones from their first album. They also brought a couple of little girls on stage as they sang. One of them really lived it up while on stage and was singing, waving and high fiving everyone’s hand that was close to her. It was very adorable and funny that someone so little knew so many words to their songs.
From the upper deck to the very front row Rascal Flatts does great about making sure their stage is as big as possible so everyone feels like they have the front row seats. The Sprint Center makes this achievable since it is a great venue to hold concerts. I know I am looking forward to the next Sprint Center Concert and seeing Rascal Flatts again!
