There is never a dull weekend in Kansas City during the summer time.  With the Royals, Sprint Center, and Kansas Speedway, there is always something fun and exciting to do.

The Royals are starting to bring up all their young talent in hopes of building a contender.  Now is the time to head to Kauffman Stadium to see players like Eric Hosmer and Danny Duffy in the beginning of what many experts believe to be very successful careers.  Once all of the prospects make it up to the big leagues the Royals are expected to be the favorites in the AL Central for years to come.

The Sprint Center is always a great place to find some entertainment.  Some of the biggest names in the music biz are set to rock the house at the Sprint Center this summer.  Artists such as R. Kelly, Motley Crue, Poison, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, John Legend, Sade and Katy Perry will all be coming to Kansas City.  These events are expected to sell out so it is important to get your tickets as fast as you can!  The Sprint Center isn’t just for hosting concerts either.  The Kansas City Command, an Arena Football team, also play all their home games in the Sprint Center.  The Command games are a great way to fulfill you weekly football fix!

The Kansas Speedway will hosts two more races this year in early October as well as the Kanrocksas Music Festival in early August.  Eminem, The Muse, and The Black Keys will be headlining this two-day event!
