What a night for the Kansas City Chiefs and their fans. The opening of the new Arrowhead couldn’t have gone any better with a 21-14 win over division rival Chargers. The Chiefs rookies took center stage with there play on the field. Dexter McCluster, Javier Arenas, and Tony Moiaki put a jolt into the Chiefs contributing in a big way. Nothing set the stage more than the McCluster’s 92 yard punt return. It gave the Chiefs a 21-7 lead which they never relinquished the rest of the night. This win can propel them for great things this year. Don’t get me wrong the Chiefs have a lot to work on both sides of the ball. Starting with the quarterback Matt Cassel, he needs to take a big step if Kansas City has visions for a special season. Also why doesn’t Jammal Charles start and then bring in Thomas Jones. Get your best playmakers on the field! On the defensive side of the ball they need to get more pass rush from there front four. They also need to have there safeties play a lot better than Monday night. The nice thing is Derrick Johnson was all over the field making plays left and right. We will see how the rest of the season goes.
I have to give it to the Fans, wow they were the loudest they have been in a while. They made a hugh difference in the outcome of the game. If you want to make the same difference those fans made Monday Night check out www.ticketsforless.com our call there friendly staff 913-685-3322.
