Jayhawks making strides

The Kansas basketball team is riding a 7 game winning streak into Saturday as they host Lafayette. During the 7 game win streak the Jayhawks have defeated Rider, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Michigan State (top 25), Florida, at Georgetown, and Utah who is ranked in the top 15. The Jayhawks may be without back up Point Guard Devonte Graham possibly for the rest of the season. Kansas should be able to cruise through the rest of the non conference season and be 12-1 heading into conference season.

Kansas is ranked 10th in the country and ever since getting blasted by Kentucky in the second game of the season, the Jayhawks have played decent basketball. They have won some ugly games, but when was the last time Kansas was winning ugly games? Let’s go back to the 2011-2012 Jayhawk squad. That team never looked pretty, but always found a way to win advancing all the way to the National Championship game. There is no doubt this team is talented enough to make a run in March.
